~An Interesting Chipboard Piece~

I've got all sorts of fun chipboard pieces that I've had for a few years.

To be perfectly honest, when I bought them, I really just wanted the bag that the goodies came in.

I wasn't into scrapbooking or cardmaking then, and I figured my daughter could "play" with those things. ;)

So glad I held on to them!

I shifted through my goods for CAS-ual Fridays CFC34
and made this.

I found this shape interesting...such a long neck!

Perfect to lasso. ;)

~Thank You Teacher~

There are a few more challenges I was inspired to play with today.

(Papertrey Ink Communique Curves Sentiments,Papertrey Ink eyelet lace border die,Papertrey Ink Fruit fusion apple die and stamp,DCWV natural stack,American Crafts AC cardstock, Piggy Tales DP,Ranger Tim Holtz Distress ink marmalade,Memento ink black)

My colors brown and white were drawn from

FYI Challenge #21

Die Cutting Challenge in the Moxie Fab World
encouraged me to use my apple die INNOVATIVELY...by using the negative but only filling part of the apple.

I wanted it to look like a heart.

The best teachers incorporate their heart, don't you think?

Nicole Heady's Make It Monday #48

Creating Backgrounds with Border Dies demonstrated by Dawn McVey,

encouraged me to use my eyelet lace border die-which I love.

I ran the borders through my Xyron and zigzagged the background.

Thank you for stopping by today. ;)

~He Loves Me~

When you know you aren't perfect and could list a ton of reasons why...

there comes an appreciation for someone who knows that list and MORE

but loves you anyway.

sniff

I love him for that.

How this card came about...

I was thinking of this.

Then I saw the strips of ribbon and red/pink combo in

Flourishes Timeless Tuesday #151

Finally, Cath just posted the Cutting and Trimming Challenge in the Moxie Fab world and it all came together.

(Flourishes A Guiding Light,Spellbinders Label Eleven,Martha Stewart Fringe Scissors,Memento ink,American Crafts AC cardstock and Bazzill cardstock)

JUST LIKE THAT! ;)

Do you have a new appreciation for my husband?

Wait, don't answer that...my skin is not that thick.

This is just a peek into what he deals with everyday...the way my mind wanders and jumps...

Did you get all that or do you need me to start over...

~Purple Trees~

I really love these trees from Unity.

"Big Round Ball trees" my husband calls 'em. ;)

I want to thank a generous family who blessed us this Christmas with "gourmet meals in a box".

SERIOUS gourmet food.

The kind that makes you literally "MMMMMM" out loud and makes your eyes bug out.

SERIOUS gourmet.

sigh

Oh, right...my card. ;)
