I grabbed from my scraps and created a unique scene, for these unique times.

  

I've never put sunglasses on a flower, nor do I use washi often (striped washi on the tag); I just had fun with this one ;).

Recycled Tag Courage

My daughters have habitually thrown their gorgeous clothing tags on my craft desk for recycling.

This tag only needed a little something-something to cover the brand name under the flowers.

I recently caught a live of the 12 Days of Sethmas that my local scrapbook store hosted.

That's Aladine Izink Diamond Glitter Paint on a tag.

I die cut this Sizzix Atomic Elements shape and used what was left as a mask and applied more of the paint.

Once it dried, I glued down the die shape on top and scattered the remnants.

I Miss Your Face Masked Doll

 

This Hero Arts Japanese Doll was cut years ago with my Silhouette Cameo, and she's traveled multiple times to different scrap bins.

I'm guessing I was learning my machine, so originally I didn't have a card for her to sit on.

After shopping at my local scrapbook store and snagging this I.O. Mask Die and sentiment stamp, she popped her head up. ;)

I used a couple of layers for the mask.

Bottom layer is shiny black and I let it peek a little from under the patterned paper~

Celebrate Kimono

Okay, I finally am using this gorgeous sticker set my sister passed on to me years ago.

Jolee's Boutique Dimensional Stickers (Kimono), Brutus Monroe Stencil of the Month, Papertrey Ink Customer Appreciation Celebrate Big

The pieces had to be glued and taped because the papers had fallen off.

I stenciled and added a sentiment die cut that fit within the frame~

I try to make sympathy cards as simple as possible, because dwelling on why I'm creating them makes me depressed.

I can't compartmentalize the pain of others; so I try to stick with pretty and keep my mind focused on blessing the recipient.
