On Fire Bookmark

We need to give ourselves grace.
One way, is to acknowledge the amount of energy it takes to stay calm in these days.
Think about this...you're treading water in the middle of a deep ocean.
Now imagine treading water, surrounded by a circle of fire, and you're trying to stay in the center of it.
This picture came to mind.
I don't know about you, but I see a big difference.
None of us were prepared for this, the full weight and scope of this.

Hope this blows a little grace in your direction.

I'm confident that on the other side of this world change, many of us will be stronger, more purposeful people.

Whatever we thought was important, is no longer important.

Hence why I chose this sentiment that accompanies this beautiful bloom from Hero Arts and Altenew's Partnership set.

May Hope Sustain You

It's so sad, but my daughter's friend lost her mom yesterday.

There were health issues that kept her hospitalized and she has passed.

My word, sometimes all you can do is card, and pray.

Simon Says Stamp Summer Flowers, Brutus Monroe Deco Flower Mixed Media Stencil, Verve (no longer in business) Forever in Our Hearts, Tim Holtz Distress Inks, Avery Elle Wonky Stitches

I wanted to lift her spirits with spring colors~look at this beautiful inspirational photo:

I sponged distress colors on the flowers while they were still in the dies.

I then stamped the details.

Being Yourself

Mannnnnn what a world we live in.

My word friends.

I want you to know I am praying in Jesus name for this new normal to not break us.

May we come out of this as stronger versions of who we have been working on and closer to who we are meant to be when it's all said and done.

Picket Fence Studios Pretty Birds & Polka Dot Grunge

Ya'll, I'm not even going to pretend that this isn't the hardest thing we as a world have experienced.

Let's come together, let's hang on and hope and pray for a better tomorrow, a better week, a better month.

For now we come together, whatever the weather.

We smile, we laugh, we cry like we've always done.

We color too.

My hope is in Jesus and I know His love is greater than anything this world has to offer despite the brokenness and despair right now.

Lights shine brighter in the darkness and now more than ever we need to fight for each other instead of at each other~

Please hang on.

INkspirational DT Chair Photo Challenge

Hi friends, it's time for another challenge at INkspirational!

The Ton Stamps Power Pumps sentiment, Thermo Web Rina K. Designs Screaming Green Enamel Transfer Sheet, Deco Foil Transfer Gel Duo, Brutus Monroe Secret Garden Stencil/Foundation Circle and Square dies, Terracotta and Slate Cardstock, Reverse Confetti This & That Paper pad

It's a groovy pic that's so fun to pull from.

I wonked my circles with Foundation Circle dies.

I used Deco Foil Transfer Gel Duo on a stencil and when it dried, I

ran it through with a Neon Enamel sheet to mimic the neon pops in the pic.

I know this is a time of stress for the WHOLE WIDE WORLD.

We are in this together, in an

 unprecedented way.

It's a new normal for everyone.

I pray you adapt in your best way, in Jesus name.

If you have time, take a breather and

please join us with your unique creation.

Keep Swimming

Essentials by Ellen Mermaid's Tail stamp and die, Technique Tuesday Bubbles on the Border die, Crate Paper Gather patterned paper, Bazzill Gold Shimmer

I'm pretty stingy with my gold shimmer paper, so I made the most of it by cutting out a section before framing the center.

It reduces the weight and thickness too~

Electro POP Animals

I got my hands on some new products and came up with poppin' bright cards today.
Stamps are Colorado Craft Company and I love them!
I've searched for years for a giraffe image like this.

Colorado Craft Company Love You Tons & Stand Tall, Therm O Web Rina K Designs Orange Glow and Screamin' Green Electro Pop Neon Enamel, Brutus Monroe Foil Reactive Embossing Powder/Cardstock (Aubergine/Honeysuckle)

New Brutus Monroe Foil Reactive Embossing Powder allowed me to experiment with Term O Web's new Rina K Electro Pop Enamel Transfer Sheets.

The glare on the spots and "Tons" show the shiny effect of the enamel.

I colored with Copics for the following challenge:
