I created this card in many steps...I'll include my Hubby's multiple trips to the hardware store to find the right fuse for my laminator.

It's been awhile since I turned it on...and it tends to blow a fuse.

It became his new obsession (or maybe mine...I lose track, ha!)

to get the machine up and running again.

I had a couple of projects I wanted to protect; this bookmark/card combo being one of them.

stamps: The Ton City Girls Book of Life/Timeless Icons  dies: Simon Says Stamp Stitched Dressed Up Tag,Lil' Inker Designs Deco Edge Border, My Favorite Things Lip Balm Window & Frame/Gift Card Grooves  other: Scotch glitter washi tape, Arteza Brush Pens, Copics

My poor husband...I probably didn't need to laminate the bookmark, but once the whole thing snowballed, there was no turning back.

Here's a zoom of her feet, which you can't see in the first pic.

I don't know why...just go with it, k?

I'm submitting this to one of my favorite themes...

A Pizza My Heart

I've had this set for awhile now, and I'll be honest...I was nervous to stamp it out.
There are so many topping choices,
it's awesome, but overwhelming.

stamps: Lawn Fawn Pizza My Heart  other: Papertrey Ink Kaboom Stencil

The following colors narrowed my image choices to the box and pizza cutter:

I'll have fun with the pizzas another time!

I'm also submitting this to the following challenge, because of the second sentiment ;).

All Kinds of Wonderful

stamps: Unity Stamp Company Summer Girl  die: Avery Elle Dotted Borders  Other: Copics, Nuvo Drops

My youngest turned 18, so I created this for her.

It was an emotional hurdle for me but I think she had a nice day!

I only cried like, three times.

It's okay, I'm good.  ;)

Anyhoo, I used alcohol markers for

on this Unity Stamp image.

It represents my groovy daughter who listens to oldies on her own.

(I threw groovy in so she'd cringe) :).

First Pom Pom Wreath

When I first started my blog in 2011...I labeled it "marlenaisfaithfullycrafting" because I didn't know if I'd stick to stamping...
 I'm a dabbler of crafting.
If you've been to my blog several times in the last couple of months, you'd know I need to take poms to another level, right?

I aimed for a pom wreath.
Here is the result of weeks of labor (breaks for Christmas fervor and sickness)...

Anyone want to count how many are there?

I meant to do that. ;)

I'm sharing this at
since I've never made a pom wreath before!
I use a pom maker (I have two types)...but I see that Simon Says sells one too. ;)
