Hero Arts Classic Casserole dies, Honey Bee Stamps Friendship Ladder Sentiment
It's time for a new INk challenge and this time the prompt is "Leftovers".
The Ton Stamps Easy Expressions, My Favorite Things (no longer in business) Always Bring a Smile , Nuvo Drops
It's time for a new challenge at INkspirational!
This time it's an adorable visual prompt, from which I pulled mushrooms and a woodland scene.
It's a stamp set that I have been itching to play with, and I was motivated because I needed a sweet birthday card for a 4 year old.
I picked soft colors to experiment with and added a few Nuvo Drops.

Stampin Up 2003 Wooden Stamps & Just for Fun 1996-227 Grid Wooden stamp, My Favorite Things Square frame dies
They were all in a bundle (there were many more in that pile too) that were being sold at a thrift store.
I couldn't resist!
Smaller stamps are Stampin Up and the larger grid was titled Just for Fun (1996-2007).
The grid stamp really helped me line up the smaller ones!
Thank you for your sweet visit~
The Ton Stamps Golf Course Layering Stamps/Golf Therapy Stamps and dies, Pretty Pink Posh Stitched Sentiment Strip
Our new challenge at INk is FOR THE GUYS!
I splurged with birthday money and invested on these gorgeous stamp sets from The Ton.
The golf course layering stamps are really fun to play with and I was able to get a card done for hubby! I didn't need the dies this time around (in case I messed up on the layering of ground, ocean and sky borders)..but I got them just in case!
I can't wait to make more (now that I've had a little practice). The results are truly realistic looking.
Please join us with your masculine take this time around~
Picket Fence Studios Nice Seeing You, The Ton Stamps Floral World Sentiments, Copics
I created this for my aunt's final bday in this world.
She turned 74 and died shortly thereafter.
It's been a painful loss, but I'm determined to rejoice in her memory; she is no longer suffering in this world.
It's a balance I believe we have to learn to move in, and with the Lord's grace, I do!
I put a lot of colors (Copic added) in here to try to convey all the beautiful peeps that love her and would miss her terribly.
Though she was in hospice when I sent this, I didn't want to add to sorrow, but keep it upbeat with multiple colors and sentiments, and floating images.
I'm a big fan of visual movement.
Challenges:
Simon Says (Wednesday): Make it Colorful
The Ton Stamps Rose Tags Stencils/Postage Sunflowers and Hydrangeas Layering Stencils/Bright Pansies Clusters stencil/ Timeless Icons Sentiments, Spellbinders Etched Palette die, Tim Holtz Layering Stencil Plaid, Papertrey Ink Geode Layers dies
It's time for a new challenge at INkspirational!
Check out this photo...I took it literally and was excited to bring out This Palette die I haven't used in awhile (or ever).
It's HUGE...so I brought out all my floral stencils from The Ton and die cut everything but Hydrangeas (fussy cut) for that organic look.
I had already thought about a book themed Mother's Day card for mom, but this Inspired By photo led me to colors!
Thank you for your sweet visit~
I recently acquired this wooden stamp from a thrift store!
It's such a cool image and an amazing year, to be honest.
That's the year I met Jesus. :)
My life hasn't been the same (in a good way) since that day.
I grew up around many faiths and religions, but when Jesus met me, THAT WAS IT.
He's the real deal and He's never left me nor forsaken me and I would do it all again, given the opportunity.
Speaking of opportunities (sorry there's never a simple segue from life changing moments and topics)...check out Color Hues.
Stamplorations Bubbles Stencil, Erin Lee Creative Backpack die, Papertrey Ink Celebrate (Customer Appreciation 2016)
Sliding in quick to share a card I wanted to make for Color Hues Fuchsia and Navy (by the way, I realize I don't know how to spell Fuchsia with confidence; ha!).
Stamplorations just released stencils (YAY!!) and I was blessed to win a GC, so I grabbed the Bubbles!
I set it to the side and blended on the card front Catherine Pooler Flirty Fuchsia (thank you spellcheck :)! ) and Papertrey Enchanted Evening. I topped with a backpack already die cut and navy ribbon sitting on my desk (for why tho)...and it came together.
Now I need to blast over there before the challenge ends...
The Ton Stamps Mass Tags dies/Rose Tags Stencils/Easy Expressions, Tim Holtz Layering Stencil Plaid
It's time for a new challenge at INk!
This time it's a Visual Prompt Sketch~
I had the tiniest tags from different colors whilst playing with the Ton Stamps Rose Tags stencils. These were produced in one craft window(yay!).
The minute I saw this sketch...I knew they would be perfect!
I went with a square sized card and I wanted to put out there...if you mail a square envelope, it costs more postage (in the US).
I've learned the hard way *twice* ahem (both times returned).
So I either need to use a regular envie or REMEMBER TO put extra postage on my fancy square envelope (which I LOVE the look of).
Just a friend passing that on.... ;)
Please join us with your unique take on this sketch!
The Stamp Market Paw Print die, Whimsy Stamps Irreplaceable Friend, Riley and Company Brick Wall
Here's a sympathy card I created for someone who lost a precious furbaby.
I did a bright sunny monochromatic color (memories are always playful).
The Greetery Happy Hippie Van die, stickers
I finally cracked open this Happy Hippie Van and used it to make a Birthday van for my daughter's special day, so I'm linking to Darnell's NBUS!
I glued all the little pieces down so that her pets wouldn't snack on them. ;)
Thank you for your sweet visit today~
It's time for a new challenge at INkspirational!
This time it's the word prompt Clean & Simple with an Optional Twist E.
Lots of masking for this one!
I've added this inside:
My optional "E" is for the name of the stamp set from Kindred Stamps: Emotional Roller Coaster.
