Coffee Heart Bookmarks

Why so many bookmarks marlena?

Yah. I don't know.

But I'll keep on until I'm done. ;)

So I'm using my acrylic paints (some I've had for YEARS) and experimenting with what matches with Glitterific paints.

I'm totally addicted to the chunky glitter look, obviously!

Boop the Doggo Nose

In case you missed my previous post...

"Boop" is kind of like gently tapping a nose, and Doggo means dogs.

At least that's what I'm told by today's youth. ;)

My youngest is a Vet Tech and she introduced me to the "boop".

"Boop the nose" she'd announce, as she leaned in to tap our "doggo's" nose (another young term ;)).

The BOOP die is a CZ Design from Simon Says Stamp, and the cutey pie image is from Etsy's Dragonflybuzz store.

I can't drink coffee, but I love the PRESENTATION of it...

In the US, we use the term "cozy" for the coffee wrap around (that holding this card closed), but not sure if that's universal.

I created these cards as gift card holders, and I couldn't stop creating them.

Drop in the Ocean Bookmark

I enjoyed dipping into summer for a break....

This backdrop was achieved with a soft color acrylic and then Glitterific on top.

When painting on paper, the bendies mostly disappear when you die cut after the fact.

I probably struggled the most dealing with the baker's twine, to be honest. ;)

I HAD to include this sentiment that wouldn't fit on the bookmark and a drop dangler came about.

I See You Friend

Concord & 9th Bright Eyes, Simon Says Stamp Better Together sentiment

This sentiment in Simon Says Stamp's Better Together reminds me of a powerful movie scene in the 2014 movie Beyond the Lights.

 A celebrity tries to leap from a balcony to her death, but her bodyguard grabs onto her just in time to save her.

As she's dangling precariously, he screams into her face, stares into  her eyes, and yells "I see you!".

Gently, he repeats.. "I. See. You."

Those words and that moment hit me some kind of way.

I'm meaning the same thing with this card. 

I want my friend to feel seen, you know?

The background was the most fun, though.

I painted in upward strokes golden color acrylic and orange gold glitter glue, to mimic the bursting effect 

of this gorgeous challenge photo at Fusion.

Fierce Typewriter

The Ton Stamps Vintage Type, Colorado Craft Company A Queen's Crown sentiment, Acrylic Paint, Glitterific, Pink and Main Slimline dies

I wanted to participate in Color Hues' Red and Purple challenge, so I had fun with the acrylic and glitterific pairing.

It was a perfect excuse to grab two jewel tone colors that are bold.

The Ton Stamp's typewriter was inked up in lavender and grape inks, and I used red acrylic paint with Princess Glitterific.

So kind of you to stop by and look see. ;)

 

Coffee O'Clock

A little coffee number today.

I can't even drink coffee, but I appreciate the gist of it ;).

Oh I wish I could, but God gave me the stomach He gave me and I can only craft about it!

I married this sentiment and stencil from Stamplorations with a 

new-to-me die from Erin Lee Creative for a coffee fix.

I googled Noel :
