Thelma to My Louise

Baby girl is the last to get her permit.

I need your prayers.

I'm serious.

She's my wild and bold kid.........

stamp: Lil' Inker Designs Galentine's Day   dies: Simon Says Stamp Stitched Dress Up Tag, Avery Elle Double Pierced Rectangle, My Favorite Things Sentiment Strips, Lil' Inker Designs On the Diagonal

I'm sure it will be an adventure...

Here's her Galentine card~

inspired by the eclectic living room in this photo

~pink, blue, green, yellow...with stripes thrown in everywhere.

I would have this room if my husband didn't have a say. ;)

I figured this would pair well with the layer it up challenge

 Please don't forget to pray...

gulp and double gulp

Citrus Layerz

I was feeling citrus today~I miss the sun!!!

stamps: Papertrey Ink Garden Party,Flourishes Hydrangea  dies: Papertrey Ink Garden Party/Mat Stack 3/Layerz Mat Stack 3,Memory Box Sour Citrus Wedges,Avery Elle Wonky Stitches

 I miss fresh fruit too.

Our fridge is all wackadoodle because the flipping temps has it confused.

The salads and fruits are frozen solid...even with the basic temp set.

That being said...I've got citrus on my mind. :)

I do have to say though...the slushy ice tea sitting in the back is super refreshing!!! for my card...

this color combo got me started~

Then I layered and layered and layered again...

Thanks for stopping by~I appreciate your visit :).

stamps: My Favorite Things Sketchy Flowers/Because You  dies: My Favorite Things Rectangle Peek-a-Boo Rectangle

The one thing I was sure about was this sketch.

I took the Peek-a-Boo Rectangle and angled it for interest.

Now if I could just get this card in the mail on time...

It's the Little Things

Little Animals and a little love sent...

stamps: Concord & 9th You are Enough, Simply Cards & Papercraft 170 free Floral Friends

The following inspiration photo made me think of the fox I picked up free in a magazine.

I love the way the photo has all the animals "posing for a pic".

Obviously my fox is paying attention, but my rabbit could give a hoot!

She's super busy and has things to do...

same, miss rabbit...same. ;)

This is my first time inking up these critters~

It's FRIDAYYYYY people!

Stripes & a Flower

I've always been a fan of stripes...

stamps: Concord & 9th You Are Enough/Stripe Builder

Concord and 9th's Stripe Builder and You Are Enough were my first two sets from this company.

Where Creativity Meets C9 Challenge 17
use your first Concord and 9th set.

I stamped the beautiful sketched flower once in black and once in gray~offsetting a smidge.

Then I filled here and there with a Copic Cool Shadow, continuing on to the sentiment for a bit of depth.

Thank you for stopping by today!

Combo of Products~You Are a Survivor

My mom is a breast cancer survivor.

She's really low key about it, but my husband wears a pin now and again to honor her (I doubt she even knows that).

It's not a secretive thing...just a "hey don't worry about it, I'm good" kind of attitude.

Everyone deals in different ways, you know?

Anyway, I wanted to let her know I'm glad she's still ok.

Essentials by Ellen Stamp & Die Set Courage,Concord & 9th Blooms Fill-In,Essentials by Ellen Folk Hearts

The following challenge~a combination of Essentials by Ellen and Concord & 9th~ inspired me to make a today card for her.

You Don't Have to Sit on It

This lone cactus was sitting on my desk from my previous project...

stamps: Newton's Nook Cultivated Cacti/Fanciful Florals   dies:Newton's Nook Cultivated Cacti, Spellbinders Classic Circles

Since it's pot matched a color from the following challenge~I set to work from there.

Those are navy dots~I'm tellin ya ;)...they look dark in my crafty corner.

Pink is majority on this card, so I'm entering the following challenge also.

My thoughts for this card come from a recent meme I found...

it said,

"Being negative only makes a difficult journey more difficult.
You may be given a cactus, but you don't have to sit on it."

I now see cacti as a daily reminder~

Thanks for stopping by!

Sticking by Me

This is a just because card for my hubby~
originally it was for Valentine's Day, but I couldn't wait. :)

This is why I procrastinate people, I'm terrible with surprises and anticipation.

A La Carte Make It Monday

Didn't think I'd be in the mood to stamp another Christmas card this soon in the new year...but here we are.

This will probably be my favorite~

stamps: Papertrey Ink What the Doodle Snowflakes/Winter Penguin/In the Meadow/Tinsel& Tags Sprigs/A Thrill of Hope sentiment

Thanks to the following challenges...

I was challenged!

I'm especially satisfied that I used a multitude of tinies~many forgotten little stamps that come with sets~

not to mention all the inks I incorporated too!

I chose the following challenge I missed in 2017:
Make it Monday #289: Building Wreaths With Small Images with Lizzie Jones

This will probably be my fave, because I know how much effort went into creating this snowflake wreath.

Lizzie's tutorial video gave wonderful tips~make sure and watch it all the way through.
It helped to have the inks opened like Lizzie showed.

I started over a few times before I could work my way around the wreath after stamping a third of it~I blame user error.

Also, I left a scrap section to preview some of the inked stamps since they were new.

May I also recommend looking at your wreath from all perspectives~upside down and all around.

I really enjoyed creating this~I hope to try my hand with florals and other images soon.

Thanks for stopping by~

Rise Above

I went abstract today~aiming for a floating feel here.

stamps: Altenew Dodecagram/Building Blocks/Painted Encouragement/Half-Tone Circles  dies: My Favorite Things Square Frames

I played with my Misti again...

using these gorgeous, bright colors.

The multi-colored flowers had such beautiful depth, so I took that and changed them to geometric images.

I recently acquired these Altenew sets (Dodecagram and Building Blocks) and was motivated to put them to use.

new to you stamp set
