~Luminary Gifts~

I've finally got my gifts done for my fellow ringers!!!

These ladies are so special to me-we practice handbells every week for our church.

I was MOTIVATED to get these done in time for the

Here is my Candle Luminary (for battery-operated candles ONLY) .

My Box Pleats tutorial is here, it will get you started if you want to make some also.

Once you've accomplished Box Pleats, trim it to be 7" high and stamp each "plateau" with a border stamp, before you do the folding.

Here is one done:

Time to fold....

AAAAHHHHH,

I could just stare at this beautiful stack of boxed pleats-they are so addictive!

For the "belt", I used the leftover strips and trimmed the white 1 1/2"X11";
the grey are 2"X11".

I scored them just as I did the pleats for the luminary, and glued them together, but instead of "plateaus" as the feature..the "valleys" are the feature.

I used glue along the "Plateaus" of the belt and a strip of 1/2" Scor-Tape to attach the ends.

The stamped & embossed Spellbinder label four is the "buckle".

Here are all the luminaries again:

From behind:

Although they are the same, each is unique in the speckling I did on top with two Copic markers.

I am also entering this in

Wee Memories Challenge 78 Free for All

Get Inspired in the Kitchen Challenge in the Moxie Fab World

inspired me to use those AWESOME  Mint Motif Beyond Borders stamp I just got!!!

I waited for months for it to restock...I literally STALKED I Heart Papers to see if it was back in.

They were so faithful in letting me know when they had more.

They didn't forget me!  sniff.

i heart them. ;)

Thank you for stopping by, hope you were inspired to create these.

If you're interested, I have another style of luminary I did here.
