GREEN
Chrissie and Mandi are so kind to give us a color to work with for Christmas.
Even though I have quite a few cards made...I didn't think about the "mailable" aspect and thought a few simple cards would be easier to send out.
My image is a second-hand PSX evergreen which I stamped in Versamark and embossed in white.
I got around the masking technique, by inking in black and stamping off once before stamping over the white trees.
I took a baby wipe and wiped off ink that got on the white embossed areas.
I kind of like the smeary look.
See my homemade Washi tape?
I learned that from Make It Monday #35 at Nichole's blog!
I know a pattern would be more "washi"ish...but I wanted the sentiment to almost float without disrupting the design.
I love the sheerness of the sentiment.
Have a wonderful week and thanks for stopping by. ;)

It's a great idea to have chopped up the image Marlena... it adds another dimension!

I love your chopped scene. What a super effect you've created. x
Love the shade of green you used Marlena and how you sliced the picture up, gives it quite a modern feel :)
