I am FINALLY boarding the watercolor train.
Hope it's not too late.
I was out from blogging/cardmaking for a few months, and when I came back, I was greeted with watercolor beauty everywhere.
sigh...
I bought some tubed stuff to play with and it included white watercolor.
When I was a kid I would have ignored it...
I mean, who grabs the white crayon?!
However, when mixed with orangey-red, it comes up coral.

Gold, coral, and green are the highlights at Color Throwdown.
Yay!
I've included these gorgeous metallic luxe hearts I snatched up.
I was attempting another baby card that just wouldn't cooperate...it was a cool plan but a horrible design to execute.
This result is simpler and sweeter, now I can actually send a card to go with the gift...
I haven't bought yet.
My life is a constant stream of loose ends, friends,
...but it's my life
and it keeps me driven. ;)

love that background... pretty card
The black and white hearts look perfect with the coral background Marlena - never too late to board the watercolour train...I think I'm still to get on it! Thanks for playing along at CAS-ual Fridays!
Fabulous! My boys always fight over the white crayons. They love that it doesn't show up. Then I gave them some black construction paper and blew their little minds. LOL
That coral background is GORGEOUS! LOVE the little heart too! Thanks SO much for playing along with The Color Throwdown!
Such a beautiful CAS design and love the background colour you used. And those metallic striped hearts are gorgeous! Thank you so much for joining us at CAS-ual Fridays!!
Aww...this is so sweet!! Thanks for joining us at CAS-ual Fridays!
So pretty, Marlena; a card that will be treasured by the newborn's parents! Your description of your life being a series of 'loose ends'...love it! Mine too...a lot of loose ends... You're already creating magic with watercolour (I've tried and have quit...why continue to do what I can't! Most of my water-colouring stuff will be part of my Christmas gift for my niece...her creativity - at age 5 - will soar far higher than mine in this medium!)
Hugs~c
