(stamp: My Favorite Things Flowers die: Sweet n' Sassy Season of Change)
I gave these colors another try...because I love them so much!
The journaling card showcased two of the colors~YAY, so that was a great base to start with.
I've hoarded the rusty orange cardstock, but it was crying to come to this party. ;)
You know I've crossed a sick line when my papers are talking to me.
Don't worry...they aren't my best friends yet.
ha!
I adore my family more...so here is another card I created to send ASAP.
(stamp: Sweet 'n Sassy Precious Poppies sentiment die: Papertrey Ink In the Meadow, Avery Elle Dotted Borders Elle-ments)
I am motivated by Jennifer McGuire's challenge
The sentiment is more about acknowledging kindness that was extended to me my whole life vs anything I can give back.
However, hopefully just by sending this card the recipients will know how grateful I am for the love poured into my life. ;)

Both cards are beautiful, Marlena...love the one leaf on the first card and all the colorful leaves on the second!!! Thanks for joining us at the Color Throwdown Challenge!!!
both of these are very pretty..
Love your creative use of the throwdown colors! Both cards are lovely! Thanks for playing along with us this week!
Two beautiful cards, Marlena. This palette is perfect for your gentle sympathy card, and, with different elements and sentiment, wonderfully transformed to a heart-felt expression of gratitude...
Hugs~c
