I dusted off my Concord & 9th Marbled Turnabout stamp and inked up two rotations. ;)

The new Erin Lee Creative sentiment die was perfect to top the dynamic back drop.

It didn't cover up too much, and allowed the background to do the heavy lifting in this design.

It's a new challenge this week friends.

However, our team has some sad news as well.

Our team is grieving the loss of our team mate, Lindsey.

She was one of many teams that are missing her light as well.

I copied the beautiful words from Carol Mayne:

We are deeply saddened to share the news that, on July 21st, we lost our treasured friend and teammate, Lindsey, following her hard-fought battle with cancer. Lindsey was well-known for her amazing creativity, witty sense of humor and immense capacity to support and encourage her design team members and challenge participants. The crafting community joins her family and friends in missing her shining light, her 'realness', her kindness.

Please keep her family in prayer sweet friends~

I made this card for my dad. When I saw this picture, I thought of my birthplace: Hawaii.

Dad grills year round. ;)

The sentiment implies the vehicle, and my sponged background mimics the beautiful blue backdrop of the photo.

The Greetery Bottled Up, Folk Art Ice Blue Metallic Acrylic Paint/Glitterific Aqua and Black Opal

This time the Designer's challenge prompt is my choice ;).

Blue has mostly been my fave and I went with different shade layers for the bottle (layered stamps is a fast choice to incorporate multiple colors of the same shade).

There are acrylic paints in the background~

including Glitterific... which has been my addiction for a few years now.

 I couldn't choose between two glitter colors, so I did both.
