~Konnichiwa and a Sketch~

I love when I bring out this sweet stamp set, Konnichiwa, from My Cute Stamps.

Instead of slicing off that strip across the middle...I rolled it into a decorative piece.

You never know when you'll need that extra bit of paper...LOL.

The following challenges helped me along...

Moxie Fab World:365 Cards Week
The Pay It Forward Challenge (World Hello Day)...who knew????

Diving Into Color With Some Water and Dots

I am getting braver with color,

thanks to the inspiration and challenges I come across.

The less I have to work with, the braver I get.

I scrounged around for some peach to put together this scene.

I fussy cut the flower from SEI Dill Blossom DP and  cut out circles of dots from the same paper.

The dress was stamped and pieced also.

How could you resist those colors?

Anniversary Card Patterns Sketch and Bright Colors

I needed to make an anniversary card for my parents, but don't yet own an "Anniversary" stamp.

Sooooo, here is what I've got.

Using a "Congratulations" will work, don't you think?  I added the three girls to represent my sisters and I.

I hope they like it. ;)

I used Card Patterns Sketch 122.

This sketch really worked for the card I wanted to make them. ;)

and the colors are from Play Date Cafe #88.

I really like these colors-bright and fun.

Thanks for peeking in. ;)

Speak Flowers?

We all love. Our cards and crafts show it. Our love can bridge cultures; transcend languages; and soften hearts.

Don't you love what you do?  It's awesome, isn't it?

I appreciate challenges that motivate us to exercise that love! ;)  Casual Fridays CFC1 (the FIRST ONE EVER!!!...check it out) calls for texting skills.  I was excited to use my "konnichiwa". I also wanted to try out these colors.

PTI MIM 14's Selective Inking Technique is a great way to highlight a main phrase (in a sea of text).  By separating "flowers" on a chipboard piece, I can add a little dimension without fiddling with a bow.  Since I can't manipulate bows (yet), :) ....this works for me!

Thank you so much for stopping in!  Keep on lovin' like you do!
