Concord & 9th You Are Enough, Avery Elle Rounded Diamonds
Can I just share here the lesson I've learned the past few days?
Can I share here that a person is more than a sum of main events and achievements?
I've learned how to love just a little more.
I learned it from my baby girl.
My youngest graduated from high school this past Saturday and the next day she and her classmates lost a dear friend in an instant.
He had graduated too.
He had accomplished so much (smart kid!) and was heading toward some lofty goals.
However, his time here ended, like now.
No one was ready to say goodbye.
But his last words via Instagram to my daughter, were "love you buddy" and her response back was the same.
That's what she will remember.
His sweet love for people was contagious.
Goals and accomplishments are wonderful, but love?
Love lasts and counts.
"So now faith, hope and love abide, these three, but the greatest of these is love". 1 Corinthians 13:13
Hug your people and love them as much as you can.

Thank you for your sweet comment on my blog...you brightened my day!
So sorry to hear such sad news. That is a lesson I have tried to live by and teach my daughter -- Namely to care MORE about the things that REALLY matter in life (kindness, generosity, love, etc.) than the things that are temporary (money, fame, prestige, etc.).
