It might be a new year...
but in many ways I'm still old Marlena facing it. ;)
I'm ok with that, mostly.
I'm learning to love the me that God created.
However, I'll admit there are days I am weary of even me.
So especially on those days,
I thirst,
for more~
more of HIM.
I don't think that's a bad thing.
In fact, less of me and more of HIM is my goal & my walk.

I pray that this year God will equip me with new talents to face new challenges...
and grace to forgive the old parts of me I'm not thrilled with.
May He be glorified through all of it.
Thank you for your sweet visit & listening ears. ;0

Those old pumps with the long handle were so easy to pump. So many memories of warm days with the children laughing and playing outdoors flood my mind as I look at this. I like the image and being on a banner made me think of wind blowing and water flowing which brings that wonderful sentiment to resound in my heart today. Your art is always so special and touches me. Thank you so much for taking time to post your very creative art with us this week at Word Art Wednesday in our 217th- FF AG challenge! Our first challenge in 2016. Praying you will have a Blessed, Prosperous, Peaceful and Creative 2016, Carole
God has created us all in His image for His purpose. We are fearfully and wonderfully made. We all go through times that we are down on ourselves but God loves us. Yes, our goal should be to grow to be more and more like Him by reading His Word. This card is a gorgeous reminder!! I love the pink, details, and your layout!! That verse is definitely what we should strive for. Thanks for joining us at ODBD!!
