First project using a die cut!
The very first project I blogged about were these party favors
that I created for my sister's shower.
that I created for my sister's shower.
April 23,2011
They were embossed with texture plates and cut from a Sizzix die.
The diaper cake centerpieces I made had an AWESOME ribbon that I based everything off of.
I loved planning for my sister's shower, even though I couldn't be there.

It was my way of being present.
Isn't that what we do?
Create from our hearts and send them out?
Thank you for stopping by today!

Such cute little favors! What a great way to serve and show love to your sister! Thanks for playing along at Flashback Friday!
Really fun die cut project! I love those flowers! Love your blog too. Thanks for playing with us at Flashback Friday! God bless.
What a fabulous project! I love your thought, too, that we create from our hearts - I know that I often feel that way, especially when creating something for someone special to me. Thanks so much for sharing it with us at Flashback Friday :) Now I'm off to check out more of your blog!
Oh shoot! I forgot to mention that I wanted to respond to your comment on my coffee-inked card, but you're set as "no-reply blogger." There's no smell once the coffee dries :) I didn't think there was, but I went back & did a sniff test to be sure. Too bad, because coffee-scented would be nice!
Thanks so much for playing along! I've featured your project on the Flashback Friday blog!

How lovely! I think you are right about your idea. We do create from our hearts and then send it out!
