I am far, far away from the beach. My dad and I speak at least once a week, and his newest question, is, "Where you stay?" (HI lingo). It's not really a question, it's more of an invitation to play. I answer every time, "Far, Far Away". That's our thing. :)
Ever since I could remember, he would start a phrase for me to finish. It could be a rhyme, "See you later," so naturally I would answer, "Alligator". I even made up my own when I was 4. I was proud of this one. He would say, "Put the cage," and I would finish, "On the stage." He let me think I was witty. :)
He still takes the time to play, even though I am in my forties. You don't always have to be serious, you know. :)
I feel playful today, but not in the same way as Chevron Shine. It's more of a laid back, "Wish I were on a carefree beach", kind of feeling. The wonderful shoreline projects at JustRite's 055 Friday color challenge are what led me there.
Here are the colors to play with...
I don't have beachy stamps...but circles-I do! I wanted to play with JustRite's endless border combinations. Think....BUBBLES!
I came up with this:
I even cut a notch from the corner...just for random's sake. I mean, why not? Unpredictable and carefree was what I was going for.
I hope you enjoyed this card. Thanks for stopping in!
