Give Thanks

Brutus Monroe Pumpkin Faces

You can't get much simpler than this~

I used

Brutus Monroe Pumpkin Faces (flipped it over for the solid shade)

and matched it to a sentiment.

Llama Say

My gosh this sentiment cracks me up!

Hero Arts Color Layering Fa La Llama stamps and dies/Square Pattern, square dies

It's from Hero Arts Color Layering Fa La Llama.

I also used an older background I've had since the beginning of my stampy days.

By using part of a background stamp, (like Seeka) and matching it with another set, I'm broadening the possibilities.

I'm also entering

Colorado Craft Company Grad Class Note of Thanks

Colorado Stamp Company HOOKED ME UP with this timely Graduation set.

I made these cards back in April ~

I also created this design for my daughter's graduating class~

Colorado Craft Company Graduation, Papertrey Ink Happy Trails "Note of Thanks", Avery Elle Wonky Stitches, Tim Holtz Distress Inks, Versafine Onyx Black, Smokey Gray

I love that I could use a male and female image!!!

I masked and sponged their school colors on an Avery Elle Wonky Stitched panel with Tim Holtz Distress inks and stamped with Versafine Onyx Black (for the sentiments), Smokey Gray (for the images) and used Papertrey's Happy Trails "a note of thanks".

I'm submitting this for Stamptember at Simon Says Stamp's challenge and here's the deets:

https://www.simonsaysstampblog.com/blog/colorado-craft-company-stamptember-2019-exclusive-collaboration/

Today there's a collaboration release and because I love you

(and I've already ordered mine 😉 )...

I read somewhere that the collaboration Stamptember sets are limited edition.

It's like pumpkin season guys.

RUNN...

My girlies have always danced and my middle daughter was a dance teacher ...

I KNOW how hard it is to find good dance images ~

(I've struggled for TEN YEARS  to gather my stash......)

If you love it, get it.

I don't say that often!

Thanks for stopping by friends~

Queen of the Glitter People

This sentiment cracks. me. up.

Inky Antics Crafty Comments, Hero Arts August 2019 My Monthly Hero Set queen, KaiserCraft Stonewall stencil, Vicki Boutin Iridescent Glitter Texture Paste

Of course I had to match it up with the perfect image...a queen from the recent My Monthly Hero.

The following challenge is to stretch your stamps...so I matched up various sets like Kristina ~

I definitely get more bang for my buck when it comes to marrying sets (no matter what company...they can all be friends!).

http://ablognamedhero.com/2019/08/august-challenge/

I sponged various colors through the KaiserCraft Stonewall stencil before applying a masked horizon with Vicki Boutin Iridescent Glitter Texture paste.

I immediately removed the mask and stencil and let it dry (that's the hardest part....the WAIT).
