Bring Your Own

Told you I love stamping collages....

they make my head all swimmy! ;)

Make It Monday #110:Collage Elements

Once again, I used Papertrey's Rosie Posie Step 2 on it's own~love that look!

I also used Hello Sunshine and Rosie Posie.

Dawn mentions in her video that Aqua Mist ink is light enough for the collage effect~I agree. You can barely make out the sentiment which I stamped multiple times in Aqua Mist.

You don't want all the colors fighting for attention, right?

Friendly Flowers

I don't use many flowers on my creations...I'm more of a shapes and lines designer~I've always been been drawn to architecture.

However, my investment in Papertrey Ink's Rosie Posie~the dies, the original stamp, and the shading~ has me creating with flowers lately.

Sometimes it takes that one great stamp set to open a new door~

I LOVE this verse also.

Only God knows everything~AMEN?!

I missed the link up to this challenge, but I love this sketch!

CAS(E) this Sketch #21.

I used a green/blue flower...inspired by the

Tuesday Trigger:Friendly Flowers.

Thanks for stopping by today friends!

Encourage

I love stamping collages...they are great stress relievers!

There is something about "letting go" that we all can use a little of...

Make It Monday #110:Collage Elements

I used a variety of Papertrey sets: Rosie Posie (and Step 2),Teach & Inspire, and Year of the Flowers:Roses.

I love using the Rosie Posie Step 2 on its own...it leaves a nice abstract image.

Hope you have a great day~thanks for stopping by!

Up, Up and AWAY

I finally got Verve's balloon set I've been eyeing....

I have no desire whatsoever to ride one...but I love the design of them.

The green shadow was inked on the backside of the stamp.

This technique works well with almost any symmetrical design, because it doesn't matter if you flip it.

I was totally inspired by

I tried using teal zeal for the shadows, but it was too dark.

I love the pops of color on a neutral, busy background.

I also went with the cue card at

I'm glad I could squeeze some craft/posting time in between spring cleanings.

Speaking of...I think I know why we want to spring clean.

The sun shines in and you see all the dust in the nook and crannies!

Touches of Glitter

I can't help but touch a card with glitter.

So, when I stumbled upon Ranger's sticky embossing powder~I thought I'd give it a go~because I need something STRONGER.

After two stepping with the Papertrey Ink Rosie Posie shading(step 2) in Versamark, I adhered the powder.

After heating, I sprinkled the glitter.

I ran my fingers over the glitter....and it STAYED PUT!!!!

Spring on the Inside

I was blessed to take a trip to Keukenhof
about

that's what enters my mind when I try to grow tulips.

Needless to say...

my garden will NEVER EVER meet my expectations~

since I can't shake that memory of rows of living color!

Now, paper tulips are another story...

I whipped up this centerpiece with two files from the Silhouette Cameo.

I assembled five enlarged 3D tulips and stuffed them into this 3D Gate basket.

I'm sharing this centerpiece with the

Spring Home Decor Challenge in the Moxie Fab World.

I also put together a spring thank you card.

I used my Papertrey Ink Rosie Posie Step 2 shading for the "bursts" at the corners of the ribbon, with gorgeous colors represented at

It was snowing a little this morning...winter is putting up a last-ditch effort to hold the season~I hope it relinquishes its title soon!!!
