New Life. New Me

This week's challenge:
Since spring is now here and signs of new life are happening all around us we want to see creations symbolizing new life…this can be Easter, new baby, budding trees, flowers…..etc.

 The Sweet Stop SSS153

This sketch.

I love to share about my new life.
Since Jesus became my Lord in the spring of 1999, my world changed.

There's still black and white,

good and evil,

happiness and sorrow.

 HOWEVER,

see the rainbow path?

Jesus fills my heart and my future with purpose, meaning and direction.

The beautiful color He paints in my little world has given me hope.

Because I know Him and I KNOW He knows Me and loves me...

I can live!

I used to worry about the legacy I would leave my girlies (back when I only had 2 and they were wittle, wittle).

Was what I offered enough?

Would they have enough joy?

Enough wisdom?

Enough knowledge?

Enough LOVE?

After Jesus saved me...

I no longer worried.

He is more than enough for me to share with them...

and you.

His sacrifice on the cross is everything.
Because of His death on the cross,

and my acceptance of His awesome gift...
I LIVE!
I'm free.
There is color in my world.
Every day IS a new beginning.
May you have a blessed Easter.

~5 for $5~

My cards today were created for the
5 for $5 Challenge in the Moxie Fab World.

List of supplies:

-2 sheets of Bazzill Kraft $.49 apiece.
-Shabby Cottage Studio
Digital French Style Tag Sheet -$3.25
-2 spools of ribbon $.33 apiece

=$4.89

I actually won the digital sheet, but I counted the price so you could create the same cards if you wanted!

All I had to do was trim around each of the gorgeous prints; staple them on the card bases and tie a ribbon!

The cards will be a nice set to give away.

~Make It Monday Generational Stamping~

Ashley has the new Make It Monday #60:Generational Stamping

video up.

I love this technique!

I used Papertrey Ink's On the Links Stamp set.

*Papertrey Ink On the Links Stamp set,Ellison Tim Holtz Rays embossing folder,Papertrey Ink Hawaiian Shores and True Black ink,Bazzill basics artesian pool and yellow,Georgia Pacific white cardstock,Creative Memories oval cutter*

I know a lot of golfers.

You'll probably see me using this set often.

I cut out sections of the Tim Holtz rays embossing folder to allow the cardbase color to shine through.

Thanks for stopping by. ;)

~The Lord is With Me Masculine Card~

I love when I can gather some great scraps on my desk and complete a card.

This card came together easily with the perfect challenges to motivate me!

*Our Daily Bread Designs Not Forgotten~Versamark ink~Whispers black embossing powder~Ranger Tim Holtz Distress inks (mustard seed and dusty concord)~Papertrey Ink In the Meadow dies~Spellbinders classic circles~Bazzill basics cardstock~Authentique Blissful pack strip~DCWV natural stack strip~Piggy Tales DP strip~Papertrey Ink Grunge Me stamped on deer~Georgia Pacific white cardstock~

The following challenges helped me along:

I had these yellow deer laying around from my Grunge Deer card.

I decided to stack them up like these striking animals.

I added the ruler strip to mimic the one in the photo.

I also want to submit this card to

 ODBDSLC102 Favorite ODBD Stamp Set.

My favorite masculine ODBD set is Not Forgotten.

The verses are STRONG and they are presented as such.

Have a beautiful day, thanks for stopping by! ;)

~Timeless Tuesday Easter~

I've had this beautiful stamped cross sitting on my desk, waiting for a card to be featured on.

I was motivated by Flourishes'

Timeless Tuesday #162

Easter Creation challenge to finish this card.

*Flourishes He is Risen~Memento inks (bahama blue, cottage ivy, tuxedo black)~K&Company SW Nature DP~Uniball gold pen~Spellbinders classic circles~Creative Memories oval cutter~Georgia Pacific cardstock*

I left the image plain, but inked the edges of the oval with Memento cottage ivy.

I thought some circles breaking up the sentiment would draw the eye up.

He is Risen.

Alleluia!!!

~Flashback Friday Die Cut~

Flashback Friday 22.0

First project using a die cut!

The very first project I blogged about were these party favors
that I created for my sister's shower.

April 23,2011

They were embossed with texture plates and cut from a Sizzix die.

The diaper cake centerpieces I made had an AWESOME ribbon that I based everything off of.

I loved planning for my sister's shower, even though I couldn't be there.

It was my way of being present.

Isn't that what we do?

Create from our hearts and send them out?

Amy's got an awesome lineup of inspiration and Sylvia is sponsoring a generous prize.

Thank you for stopping by today!
