I was feeling citrus today~I miss the sun!!!

 I miss fresh fruit too.

Our fridge is all wackadoodle because the flipping temps has it confused.

The salads and fruits are frozen solid...even with the basic temp set.

That being said...I've got citrus on my mind. :)

 I do have to say though...the slushy ice tea sitting in the back is super refreshing!!!

I've always been a fan of stripes...

~always.

use your first Concord and 9th set.

I stamped the beautiful sketched flower once in black and once in gray~offsetting a smidge.

Then I filled here and there with a Copic Cool Shadow, continuing on to the sentiment for a bit of depth.

My mom is a breast cancer survivor.

She's really low key about it, but my husband wears a pin now and again to honor her (I doubt she even knows that).


It's not a secretive thing...just a "hey don't worry about it, I'm good" kind of attitude.

My thoughts for this card come from a recent meme I found...

it said,

I chose the following challenge I missed in 2017:

Make it Monday #289: Building Wreaths With Small Images with Lizzie Jones

This will probably be my fave, because I know how much effort went into creating this snowflake wreath.

Lizzie's tutorial video gave wonderful tips~make sure and watch it all the way through.
 
 It helped to have the inks opened like Lizzie showed.

I started over a few times before I could work my way around the wreath after stamping a third of it~I blame user error.


  Also, I left a scrap section to preview some of the inked stamps since they were new.

May I also recommend looking at your wreath from all perspectives~upside down and all around.

 I really enjoyed creating this~I hope to try my hand with florals and other images soon.

I went abstract today~aiming for a floating feel here.

I played with my Misti again...

using these gorgeous, bright colors.

The multi-colored flowers had such beautiful depth, so I took that and changed them to geometric images.

I recently acquired these Altenew sets (Dodecagram and Building Blocks) and was motivated to put them to use.
