(stamp: Create with TLC digital freebie image die: Spellbinders Coloring Medium: Copics)
I did a bit of ombre "coloring" for a couple of challenges....
I dotty-dotted with Copics to get the ombre effect on my die cut digital.
To show you I really meant it in my quest for sets....
here is another using the scraps of the same paper...

I'm entering it in another challenge I've stumbled upon
This week the focus is an "Inspired by Words" Challenge...
"Autumn...the year's last, loveliest smile" by American Poet William Callum Bryant.
I LOVE this idea of being inspired by words...
I was an English major many many moons ago...so I think this is the coolest idea for a challenge!
I obviously took the word smile to feature here.
I come from an island FULL OF SMILES...Hawaii ;)...so smiling comes naturally to me. ;)
Hawaii is not only full of Hawaiian Aloha...but Asian culture too.
I have a bit of Japanese in me (along with a bunch of other nationalities).
A smile can mean different things to different people.
I found this interesting article ...
Sometimes I think I smile when perhaps I shouldn't...
I'm working on that guys.
I didn't realize it was a "thing" that differed among cultures until we lived out of the US.
At first I thought people were angry at us...but then I took it less personal the longer I lived in that country.
The more I learn...the more I realize I need to learn...
always trying to grow here guys....
