.
As often as I remind my girlies to stay level headed...I know how it goes....
love gets ahold of you...and you are TOAST.
It will change your plans, and make you almost crazy.
In the end, though, as long as it's in God's will.....it WILL BE CELEBRATED!!!
I met my husband on a "first time ever for the both of us"...BLIND DATE.
crazy talk, huh?
I look back and SHUDDER...thinking about how it could have gone so wrong.
But, here we are....married half my life with three beautifuls to testify to God's provision and grace.
sigh.
That's just how love goes ...it steers you off of your well-thought plans and takes you where you never imagined you'd ever go.
Now about this card....
I added dimension with dry embossing and sequins. I also added texture with Krylon Citrus Dream Glitter Blast.
I'm also entering this in CAS-ual Fridays CFC127:Over the Edge
Hanging off the edge is EXACTLY what I think true love is like...you stretch yourself
~beyond who you are
~for the one you love.
There is nothing more humbling...

Oh boy... here's wishing you smooth roads where love goes. Beautiful misted panel over the embossed one, BTW :)
love the embossed background. beautiful card! thanks for joining us at CAS-ual Fridays!
Oh my - we walked a similar path, as I, too, met my husband as a 'blind date' arranged by my now sister-in-law who was my brother's girlfriend at the time. I was not impressed that she was 'fixing me up' when I was completely content in my own world (with my dog), just being ''me". Apparently, she was right (God's will works in marvelous and mysterious ways): I needed a 'somebody.' Met my husband - and yes, the old saying of 'you'll know the one' rang true. Love is wonderful! Your card and your post: happy-making! Hugs~c
