My jaw dropped when I saw Amy's card.

 I cased the concept~stamping my own "ombre" by inking each word with two versions of the same color, darker and lighter.

I die-cut white gems, placed them over clear acetate, inked and stamped again (lining up over the original stamping best I could).

I removed the acetate, ran each gem through a xyron sticker maker and lined them as close as possible to the original stamped words.

 I used the colors from

Mother Card

I'm ahead of the game...I made a card for May's Mother's Day for my MIL.

She likes purple, so these colors inspired me~

I took a ready made card base and added the layers.

I'm also submitting this to 

 Time Out Challenge #51 & 2nd Birthday!
 Easter and/or Spring with the optional technique twist of masking.


Now I can put this in a "special" place where I'll probably lose it.


I seem to roll that way.

Bit O' Green

Guys, I used a bit o' green today...

Ok, maybe more than a "bit"...but once I chomped on that bit I couldn't stop! ;)

My daughter is literally in a school of trying to make people LOL,

so I'm keeping this card in my back pocket for her next show!

Shaker Elephant Card

I finished a birthday card for my niece (it's next month~aren't you proud?).

I'm glad I saw these colors...

because the elephant was rescued off a card that wasn't executed right (I've grown as a cardmaker over the years).

I know it's a "baby" elephant but I wanted it for my elementary aged niece~so rhinestones and sequins step it up a notch.

 My eldest girlie turned 20!!!

I don't even know how that happened guys.

I blinked.

 Oh, wait, what-

her hair is PINK you say?

Yah, I know. ;)

It's our birthday gift.

She wanted to do it at least once in her life.

How fun is she?!

I love it. 

I love her. ;)

  I love that she makes people smile and laugh.

She's a HOOT & 1/2, guys~

You can't take life too serious around her.

She'll make you choke on your food~

but in a good way. ;)

She's a real blessing. 

I can't believe I got to be her mom.
