Amazing Pineapple

My card was inspired by this photo~picture a pink pillow on a grey couch.

Friend Flowers

When I started this clean and layered card~I began with this inspirational photo.
 

I focused on the white flowers, blue vase and orange butterfly.

After trying to make the focal panel work on a neutral base, I went with a colorful dotted cardbase.

I have a friend who could use a bright, happy card right about now.

Bumpy washi is fun for texture~

it's got circles AND it's metallic!!!

I already got one "stamp" (ha!) of approval from my daughter who caught a view of this card.

She said "Ooooh, I love superhero fonts like that!!!".


YAYY!!

Spring Trees

This is literally how our trees look at the moment~tiny blossoms here and there.

Realistically speaking, they sit on bare branches.


But I can do what I want ;).

I was inspired by the challenge at 

Create Along With Us April 2017.

Nichole Heady's red and blue double tag project for  

April 2017 Release:Day Two had me smitten.

I started with reds and blues and double tagged it.

Then I ended up creating a card too.

It might be because I'm wearing pajama pants.

I haven't had the luxury to do so all week.

 I'm not worried about getting embossing powder on me, so I went for it!

 I should probably keep embossing while I have the day to do so~

Friend Rerun Challenge Card

April showers bring May flowers.

I'm banking on that saying.

Something has to come from all that rain!!!

I'm participating in Winnie & Walter's Rerun Challenge here.

Instead of the Rerun stamp set, so I went with the inspiration of this lovely card by Shay.

 

 

I stamped the stem from In Bloom:Eva's Favorite Flowers to mimic the wood background.

 Then I "splattered" with a bit of blue watered down ink and stamped some dots from the same set.

 The flowers were stamped and the cutaway added in the same fashion as her creation.

My main colors were from the Color Throwdown.

April Fool's Day

I detest April Fool's Day...I'm an easy mark!!!!

But Darnell's April Fool's Day Challenge makes it less painful.

I posted this card recently...

Here was it's predecessor.

It's not HORRIBLE...but  it looks like the leaves are trying to catch the flowers.

 I didn't see it until I took a picture and I couldn't shake the awkward feels.

It was a simple fix...I just attached another bloom.

As my daughter would say...now I feel like I have my life put together.

ha!!!

I know it's the day after April Fool's, but Darnell has this challenge open until the 11th.

There's still time to share your NBUS or bOO bOOs.
