~Make It Monday PTI Coasters~

I invested in PTI coasters awhile back-I highly recommend the purchase!

This week's Make It Monday #53 is Creative Coasters.

I literally ran to my table while Jennifer Ellefson's tutorial was playing, and spritzed, cut and textured within a couple of minutes!

Here is my card:

(Papertrey Ink Fruit Fusion apple die,Communique Curves Sentiments,DCWV Natural stack,Bazzill cardstock,Memento ink tuxedo black,Cuttlebug embossing folder,Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist Pink Bubblegum, quilling paper)

I love perfect strips of cardstock that's been trimmed off of a card.

I folded the DP and cardstock over the base and stapled.

A very easy thank you card!

~Treasures Hidden in My House~

I stumbled upon a treasure in my house.

It's called "The Vintage Buttons I Gave Away Before I Was a CardMaker".

I knew I had more buttons from Great Aunt Grace.

(I Heart Papers Mint Motif Beyond Borders,Authentique Blissful DP,Vintage button tag,Memento ink bahama blue,Bazzill cardstock,Spellbinders Labels Eleven)

Praise God I have sweet girlies. After this treasure was revealed and my jaw dropped on the floor..LOL

OF COURSE my girls let me dig through the treasure and pull out ones that have an awesome graphic like this vintage beauty.

Yah, the buttons are cool too, but the graphic is AUTHENTIC.

I mean, it even has the sentiment ON THE BUTTON TAG.

All I had to do was die cut within the yucky parts.

I thought it would be cool to match the image with the graphic border from Mint Motif.

My colors were chosen for The Play Date Cafe PDCC118.

Thanks for stopping by. ;)

~CAS PTI 5th Anniversary Day 7~

The party is still rockin' at Papertrey Ink's 5th Anniversary.

This is the 7th Day, and the challenge is to incorporate hearts.

(Papertrey Ink In the Meadow dies (partial tree die for grass),Papertrey Ink Game On,Ellison Tipsy Heart for the template,Ranger Tim Holtz marmalade ink,Making Memories Just Chillin' DP,American Crafts AC cardstock,Georgia Pacific white)

I just love the deer dies from PTI's In the Meadow.

I stumbled upon the first partial DP deer when I was cutting out snowmen and thought, "That looks cool!"

The curvy cuts look so much better than just slicing it in bits, so I had to work to replicate the "mistake" with a partial circle punch in the second deer.

I sponged distress ink for the heart frame.

I am also entering this in CAS-ual Fridays CFC39.

Since I playing with die cuts, I am also submitting this to

Moxie Fab's Cool Tools Week:DIE CUTTING CHALLENGE.

Thanks for stopping in. Hope you're having a fun weekend. ;)

~LIM Week 54 Striped Hearts~

This week at Less Is More, Chrissie and Mandi are challenging us to use
STRIPES on a one-layer card.

I used my Ellison Tipsy Hearts die and used the negative to mask off my JustRite rectangle stamper.

(Sentiment: Basic Grey Tranquil,JustRite stamper,Ellison Tipsy Hearts Die,Memento Ink tuxedo and rose bud,Georgia Pacific white cardstock)

I then shaded the edges with the opposing inks.

There are some awesome entries so far...check out the amazing creations!

~PTI 5th Anniversary Day 6~

Papertrey Ink's 5th Anniversary is quite a bash!

Today is the 6th day of celebration.

I am linking up a creation based off of Nichole Heady's 4th sketch

(Papertrey Ink In the Meadow snowman dies,Papertrey Ink Thing Big Favorites #2,Whispers yellow embossing powder, Versamark ink,Authentique Blissful pack,Bazzill cardstock,Creative Memories corner rounder,Scor-Pal for scoring the top and bottom)

Yup, I cut those snowman arms off and used those little guys as tabs.

A simple card which I'm sure will come in handy, considering all the kind people I know. ;)

Hope you have a wonderful evening~thanks for stopping by!
