Homemade Shimmer

Papertrey Ink's Challenge this week is to create your own shimmer!  You use a reinker, spray bottle, and water to make your own mist.  I am so glad I tried this...it's really cool.

I made my own mist, with Adirondack Expresso, water, and perfect pearls.  I laid a couple of diecuts from my Sizzix Dogwood flower to create silhouettes.

As for the dimension of my card, I have to give credit to Jenny at Crafting in the country.  Her twine tree was so cute, and left an impression on me. You can see why!

The embroidery floss gave my card just the ooomph it needed, I think.  I twirled the floss around my pinky finger, and then ran it through the Xyron.

Hope you like this....thanks for peeking in!

Stamps: PTI Grunge Me
Other: Perfect Pearls powder, Adirondack expresso, Sizzix Dogwood flower die, corrugator, Staz On ink
