Bruh You Make the World (Cat)

What I love about leaving my scraps out...is they tend to fall in place.

This cat fell on this small section of patterned paper (I like to call rain), and that combo set the stage for this creation.

Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps Kitty Love, Honey Bee Stamps Inside:Thankful Sentiments, Erin Lee Creative Teen Slang sentiment

My future Son-in-law loves cats, and I thought these two sentiments would go great together for his bday card.

I used my fave colours blue and black for the following challenge:

Sew Special and Moving Scissors

The Greetery's Notionable die had me at moving scissors.

The Greetery Notionable Die, Kindred Stamps Sew Special sentiment, Tonic Studios Mirror Cardstock, My Favorite Things Stitched Square

I glued the top half and went searching for a mini brad to allow the bottom half mobility.

They are angled to highlight the acrylic painted section

(which I carefully masked and painted with acrylic).

Last step was die cutting with My Favorite Things stitched square.

I'm super proud of waiting for it to dry. ;)

Hope Kokeshi Doll

This card came together with parts I had sitting in my extra pile.

All the colors mesh well, so I let them play ;).

I-Crafter Kokeshi Doll, Stamplorations digi sentiment, My Favorite Things Blueprints 11 Panel

Oh sweet mustard yellow and black inspiration:

This encouraging sentiment was a free printed sentiment that arrived with a Stamplorations order years ago; I'm glad I found a home for it!

The beautiful I-Crafter Kokeshi doll is created with all die cuts~

Thank you for your sweet visit today~

DT INkspirational Designers Choice

River City Wooden Stamp sentiment, Maggie Holmes Sunny Days floral pattern, Sizzix Katelyn Lizardi envelope liners (straight)

This new challenge at INkspirational is Carol's choice and she picked matching envelope and card:

ooooh this challenged me!

I prayed about it (for real ;)) and the Lord allowed me to find a deal on these envelope liner dies (Sizzix) in a local store.

I had seen a gorgeous lined envelope and I felt that was the easiest and most practical way to meet this challenge (my way).

If you decide to stamp an envelope, I'd imagine Staz On or inks that are waterproof would be a good idea!

Please visit the challenge blog to see what my talented teamies have come up with and join us with your unique creation~

The Present You Told Me to Get You

I did a bit of paper piecing on this lovely image from Picket Fence Studios.

Coloring is with Copics.

She seemed to want to settle in here on this fab striped paper from My Favorite Things. ;)

I rediscovered this sass sentiment from Gina K,

ha!

BRUH

This masculine card came together easily (I try to leave scraps where I can see them).

This grounding strip was left from this recent creation.

I stamped the sentiments and took off from there.

I've had the wood slices hanging around too~

Erin Lee Creative Teen Slang, The Greetery Wood Slice, My Favorite Things Torn Paper Edges die, sponged with Tim Holtz Distress Inks

I did a little ink blending in the back for this challenge:

There's some embossing texture in the wood slice dies:
