Toucan Do It

I'm obsessed with fun birds.
My newest love~
toucans.

Thanks to a generous sponsor, Uniko
(thank you so much, Beverley) and a drawing at TIME OUT, I acquired one. ;)

This is a technique I haven't tried yet...Yupo paper and Alcohol Inks.

stamps: Uniko Paradise toucan, Simon Says Stamp Wild Beauty sentiment, Papertrey Ink Palm Prints  dies: Papertrey Ink Palm Prints

For this month's Uniko photo challenge...I dropped orange, green and blues on to this special paper.

I wanted the background inks to be the star of this tropical summer card.

The leaves were stamped dark and he's stamped on acetate with Staz On black.

I stamped him again on paper, copic colored and fussy cut his body without a beak.

Here's the back of the two layers~

I even dolled up the inside ~using the last scrap of inked Yupo.

stamps: Hero Arts Stamp&Cut Alpha Tabs, Lawn Fawn Quinn's ABCs

Thanks for stopping by~
