The Q and Smiling Flowers

When the flowers show up, it really does seem as if they're smiling...

especially around these parts where gloomy doomy has been the norm.

Look at the beautiful colors featured at

I don't have gray ribbon handy, and even if I did...it wouldn't work for me.

I just can't seem to get bows down.

However, I've been turning to paper shreds for embellishing lately~we are more on friendly terms and I've got tons of colors handy.

I had some crafting time today...yay me!!! ;)

Have a blessed day friends~

  1. Craft time is the best time, beautiful card Marlena! Thank you so much for sharing with us at the colourQ!

  2. Lovely work on your background Marlena!! Thanks so much for joining us at the ColourQ!

  3. So glad to see someone else has an issue with bows lol! I am so loving those paper shreds - what a brilliant idea and the background stamping is beautiful. Thanks for playing along with Colour Q!

  4. Hi, Marlena, your card is so cheery, the flowers do bring a smile! As for ribbon, not necessary, but I will put up a how to make a bow tomorrow. I learned in Girl Scouts over 50 years ago and it was easy as long as you are not left handed! Thanks for joining in the fun at the colourQ this week and have a Happy and joyous Easter!

  5. Hello *waving wildly* it's just me: c! I have fallen so far behind in commenting that it's ridiculous! My apologies, so I'm tying on my running shoes and going for a Marlena gallery stroll to catch up! Your flowers here are lovely - and given the seeming unending gloomy here, a most welcome delight! As for bows - I join you in being bow-challenged! Your papers work perfect! Fabulous! Hugs~c

Thank you for your kind words and taking the time to stop in! ;)
