Into the Light

Well, HERE WE ARE GUYS AND GALS...A NEW YEAR!!!

HAPPY HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

I started out the first few minutes of the new year with a mini panic attack.

OF COURSE I was running through my mind the "bigs" of this coming year,

and then I took a deep breath.

After looking at alllllll that the Lord has done in the McDeavitt home...shaping young ladies into beautiful, confident, joyful souls...

I remembered that HE is the same God that BROUGHT US HERE and He has plans this year that I pray I am privy to. LOL.

I want to be ON BOARD with what He is doing....and not be the one in the way.

Let me say that again...I want to be WITH HIM and not AGAINST HIM.

With that said...may the 2014 marlena listen to His voice and heart~

Simon Says ...Something New (my new Unity Stamp...woot woot!!!)

share her testimony whenever she gets the chance....

and may 2014 marlena be inspired to craft and share here with you special folks.

I hope this card encourages you...

Don't get all hung up on making yourself so "new" this year.

Delight yourself in the Lord...He will take you places YOU NEVER DREAMED POSSIBLE....

but you always secretly hoped would reach.

He knows your heart.

Please trust Him.

Beautiful cards, Marlena. That "Delight Yourself In The Lord" stamp is one of my favorites (I also have it and use it a lot). Both cards are really lovely and so is your posts. More precious than rubies - that's the verse that comes to mind. I also have a cute little sign in our house that says, "Here's to Godly women - May We Know Them, May We Raise Them, May We Be Them." I also bought the same sign for a friend of mind raising five girls of her own. God honors us when we give Him our best in raising them for His glory. I sure praise Him for our girls, and I'm sure you feel the same way. GOD IS SO GOOD!
Thanks for sharing your art with us, Marlena, and God bless you and your family!
