A Throwdown Case-A-Diva Card

Verve Stamps' September Diva Dare challenges you to Case-a-Diva
(fancy talk for copy).

I chose Sankari Wegman to case.

Every time I go on a Verve hop and land on her blog...I literally gasp.

My eyeballs POP when I see what she does with color

AND bling.

WOWZERS.

It's like she's working with a special rainbow or shade of colors.

She's like the Color Whisperer. ;)

My card is not as magnificent as her work,

but my heart was in the right place.. ;)

helped me get started.

See my baby attempts at quilling???

Note it's quilling with a little "q". ;)

 Gotta start somewhere,right?

Thank you for stopping by today. ;)

Well I didn't see her original but I think your card is pretty gorgeous! Great job on the color challenge--this is a very dramatic card. The quilling looks great too!

Wow, this is beautiful, Marlena! The colors are so bold and vibrant! You've arranged them perfectly to be complimentary to each other and the accents you've used are stunning! The sweet swirly branch, the sponged panel and the darling sentiment...all fabulous! So glad to have you playing along with us!
