I've had this cute turtle stamp for awhile and I finally inked it!
stamps: Sister Stamps Turtle Set, Seaside Stampin' Ink Dance of Life dies: Papertrey Ink Geode Layers, Technique Bubbles on the Border other: Tim Holtz Distress green inks/waterbrush/watercolor paper, Versamark Ink, gold embossing powder, scoring tool
The technique linked at
was fun and easy!
First I inked a single turtle with versamark and gold embossed the image.
Next I pressed a couple of green shades from Tim Holtz Distress Inks on to his watercolor paper and saturated it with a waterbrush.
I didn't let any of the watercolor pieces go to waste~I cut "bubbles" out with Technique Tuesday's Bubbles on the Border die.
The hardest part was setting it aside to dry.
The sketch at Just Add Ink #421
was perfect for focusing on this accurate sentiment.
There's scoring on the sentiment panel for further highlighting.
Thanks for stopping by~
