~Matchbook Folder Card~

My friend gave me a notepad that looked like a matchbook folder once.

It was on my mind when I designed this card.

 Running out of adhesive?

Bring out your sewing machine!

I sewed on each strip for decor, and then I sewed across the top and bottom for support.

This is for my mom's birthday in June- she loves roses!

My colors were pulled from The PlayDate Cafe PDCC131.

  4. What a great design, and love the sewing and the beautiful colors on the DP. Also read the "serious cardmaker" sidebar, and am thinking of those mornings before work, trying to the ink off of my fingertips in the shower, and wondering if anyone has commented on my challenge card yet! It's a great life!

  9. Fab end result from combining these challenges, Marlena! I like the 'rays' of skinny strips behind the rose postage.
