Butterfly Duo

A "simple" one layer card can be exhausting!

I don't want to admit HOW MANY TRIES IT TOOK

to finish this.

Inky fingers and not enough pressure on the stamp made it harder than it had to be.

I had fun anyway. ;)

I stamped the butterfly twice.  Since I didn't re-ink, the second one came out lighter.

I masked each butterfly and stamped the background.

 Challenges that inspired me:

~Just Add Ink 84 Colour Challenge (white plus one other colour)

(I chose green ink to get as close as I could to the color in this picture. I really liked the clean/graphic design and tried to mirror that in my card.)

I appreciate you stopping by today. ;)

I can imagine a one layer card is exhausting Marlena! I don't think I've ever made one to be honest. You've done a great job. Love the stamping of the butterflies. Glad you could play along with us at JAI this week.

Super card Marlene
It's a popular misconception that CAS cards are easy! PErfect placement takes a lot of though to get right. As you have!
Good to see you
Thank you

I love it! I too find CAS incredibly tricky. Including less makes each single element so much more crucial - that said, you totally rocked this. Awesome :)
