~Case of the Mondays~

I'm amazed that a card was completed today....

CASE Study Challenge #110
Torico

inspired me to keep this card in neutral colors, just like her card.

This is the second time I die cut the Memory Box Jasmine frame die and chose the rustic innards instead of the detailed frame (which IS beautiful...I'll use it someday~).

Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge #117

gave me a guideline on how to position the leftovers from the Ek Success Le Argyle punch....hmmm, I'm seeing a pattern here with leftovers.

Lately, I've been cooking bigger batches so there are leftovers to pull from on busier nights~I SO APPRECIATE LEFTOVERS!!!

This challenge inspired me to keep it brown and white-all natural like.

I've got a "case of the Mondays" as my husband put it this morning....not much to say except "HEY!"  ;)

Supplies:

Stamps: Waltzingmouse Stamps French Country
Punch: Ek Success Le Argyle
Dies: Memory Box Jasmine frame die
Ink:(Rich Cocoa)Memento Ink,Ranger Tim Holtz (Walnut Stain) for edging
Other:Crop-A-Dile Corner Chomper

SO clever to use the negative part of your die - it makes it so interesting and really caught my eye!

Rustic innards, heee! I love how it looks like a piece of cloth! Such cute little "stitched" x's at the bottom. Mr. Rooster looks right at home on this sweet CAS card!

I'm with you on the leftovers! Though I could stand to actually use more of them on my cards instead of letting them pile up. :) I love the distressed sponging you've done around the image on your card. It has such a comfy, homespun look. Thanks for sharing it with us at CASE Study!

Marlena, I love your idea to use the inside and I have to tell you it looks great! Sure gives a rustic feel to your card. You are so creative and go outside the box and I love that about you.

Gosh, Marlena! Love the old-world french country feel. The use of innards is just brilliant! Looking forward to more "case of the Mondays!"
