I don't have a huge anything for New Year's Day yearly. 

However, I've hosted out of state family here and there.

 I tend to gravitate toward Christmasy New Year's designs when I send out my cards, and I think because I remember when we connected during that special time.

I will always love these disco dancers, and this card can be given to anyone.

The Greetery Market Place (No 1, 2, 3)/Holiday Festoons and stamp paired with Candy Pop Rectangle die (for hanging bow)

I've been busy building house tags for my daughter to share with her clients.

I couldn't bring myself to cut a hole in these carefully detailed tags (designed by The Greetery).

So I die cut Candy Pop Rectangles I had from the same company, and cut them in half (doubling up for sturdiness).

She will be tying them on to some cute gifts she purchased for them.

Stenciled Pansy Duo

The Ton Stamps Bright Pansies Clusters Layering Stencils, Spellbinders Glimmer Plates Heart Melt Sentiments/Mini Everyday Sentiments, embossing folders, Tonic Studios Shimmer Cardstock

I can't pick a fave from these two versions using The Ton Stamps Bright Pansies Clusters Layering stencils.

Both use the stencil, a Spellbinders Glimmer Plate sentiment, and an embossing folder.

When I've got my stencil supplies out...I try to make a few color variations.

I went with fall colors with the first being a tad more neutral.

This second card is using the colors from the last Color Throwdown.

I feel I've been playing there (when I could) since I first started this blog journey.

I've always been fascinated by the colors they've come up with!

I finished the card behind the sweater, so it doesn't look incomplete.

Hey, Do You Believe?

This Calls for Confetti Love Bigfoot Die, Pretty Pink Posh Sentiment Strip dies, La-La Land Crafts In the Forest

Backstory time...my husband asked me to create this card for a coworker that had a funny story.

He was on the side of the road changing a flat tire (taking a long time) when he sensed someone standing over him.

A voice said over his shoulder, "What are you doing?".

Then he answered "What do you think I'm doing?".

The last thing he heard was "Hey, do you believe in Bigfoot?".

I don't know his friend's reply, but when he turned around...the person disappeared. HA!

(ikr...what?! No words are needed at this point. People are wildin' out there ya'll!!!!)

I kid you not, this was the story my husband shared when he saw that I had a bigfoot die (and was working on this card).

"Please would you make a card for my coworker?". 

Well, yes I did. ;)

I got my hands on some gorgeous packs of scenery patterned paper packs and this particular scene is perfect for Bigfoot.

The sentiment was typed out and printed on cardstock and cut with Pretty Pink Posh's sentiment strip.

City Team Colors

Simon Says Stamp Festive Balloons, The Greetery Market Place Mini dies, My Favorite Things (out of business) cloud stencil, stickers for the recipient's name

This was created for my son-in-law.

I centered these never-been-used/but still sticks stickers to spell out his name (in his team colors) between these new fun buildings ;).

Whilst looking for "confetti" I felt the Lord's creative hand on me to use the window die from one of the buildings!

Cut in silver...it sparkles and falls like confetti.

This balloon set was a birthday incentive gift from Simon Says Stamp and it's one of my FAVE.

The images and sentiments go with any birthday card!

I was smitten with these lovely casserole dies from Hero Arts and I paired them with a book stamp for the book loving recipient.

One thing I love about the fall, is the presentation of all foods. ;)

Who knows what's under the hood of these gorgeous dishes...

but we will gather together and FIGURE IT OUT. ;) ha!

For the Card Concept, I used the overall theme (books and food/decor) for my Clean and Layered card.

We attended the first birthday party for my nephew's son, and it was the cutest theme.

I couldn't seem to find a tent or anything at the moment in my stash, so I used a Papertrey Ink's Brushed Off Rectangle die on the actual invite and added my text with Honey Bee Stamps Sugar Cookie Alphabet and Numbers set.
