Happy Birthday to my sister. ;)
I had fun with this Brutus Monroe Sketchy set:
Brutus Monroe Sketchy Dies/Sketchy Sentiments/Midnight Cardstock
I lit it up with Pear Blossom Press EZ light too (I wanted to impress my brother in law, who's a talented artist)!
The spider web is a doily I stocked up on forever ago.
I keep finding them in sections of my craft room, and then I say "OH yah....I forgot I had these!".
His October birthday warrants a spider web, me thinks.
Thank you for your sweet visit!
Papertrey Ink Geode Layers Die, Stampin Up By the Tide, Verve (no longer in business) Bible verse
Hubby requested a fishing card for his buddy...and I had this secondhand set I picked up at a cool antique shop (never been inked).
I started with leaving the Geode Layer panel in the die and sponging a few colors.
After that it was fish, squiggle line, sentiment...
boom, done!
He liked it and is sending off.
Check out the blues and brown at Time Out Challenges.
The boat and view screams fishing (with coffee like background) to me!
Thanks for stopping by today~
Stampin Up Jar of Love, Papertrey Ink Words of Comfort, The Ton Stamps Glass Slipper Sequins
It's time for a new challenge at INkspirational!
This time the prompt is CAS with the Optional Twist of Flowers.
I was requested a sympathy card and so I inked up this secondhand set I picked up (I believe it's retired).
Pink Fresh Studio The Magic is in You,The Ton Stamps Easy Expressions, Stampin Up Jar of Love
I wanted to participate in Just Us Girls Case and I bounced off of Vicki's lovely mason jar floral arrangement!
I was able to pick up this Pink Fresh Studio stencil/die set at my local craft store and I paired it with a thrift find (mason jar set from Stampin' Up).
I used the pretty combo at Color Hues:

We go thrifting now and again and I'll a find a gem like this snowman woodblock stamp.
I know Amy does a Woodblock challenge every month, end of the month (yay!!!).
Woodblock Wednesday July Edition
Simon Says (Wednesday): Anything Goes
Thanks for your sweet visit today!
I made this after seeing this at Inspired By:
Brutus Monroe Stencil, Stamplorations Celebrate Big Phrase Die, Tim Holtz Distress Inks, Tonic Studios Mirror Cardstock
I created this stenciled card for my parents' anniversary.
I kept it simple with a stencil from Brutus Monroe (easy to mix colors with because the sections have wider spaced borders) and a sentiment from Stamplorations (this sentiment had the word "Big" after Celebrate, but I trimmed it off).
Simon Says (Monday): Make Your Own Background
Simon Says (Wednesday): Focus on the Sentiment
I always appreciate your sweet visits!
The Ton Stamps Lighthouse Night/Day Add On/Postage Party Die, Verve (out of business) Strong Anchor
Ok, so I did the night Lighthouse too from The Ton Stamps and I want you to think of Debby Boone's
"You Light Up My Life" which I belted at a very young age.
I FELT that song so I'm going to say it was my fave back when I was still me. ;)
If you zoom in, you'll see that I weaved cording into the postage holes and tied off two edges.
It's my version of "stitching".
Simon Says (Monday) Challenge: Stitch It
Thanks for your sweet visit today~
The Ton Stamps Lighthouse Night/Day Add On/Postage Party Die/Birthday Seals/Not a Bill
I recently picked up the lighthouse stencils, birthday seals and not a bill sets at the lovely The Ton Stamps stamp convention booth.
I had a card I wanted to whip up for my nephew!
There's water in every image:
Sending in the mail ASAP...
Have a wonderful day and thanks for stopping in!
The Stamp Market Sweet Scallop A2/Sweet Scallop Details die, Colorado Craft Company Big & Bold You're Fabulous dress
It's time for a new challenge at INkspirational!
This time it's Nonni's choice, and she prompted us with "3 of the Same".
I scattered three flowers around this paperpieced card.
Honey Bee Inside Thankful Sentiments, Neat & Tangled Exploding Blocks Stencil
It's time for a new challenge at INkspirational!
This time we challenge you to use a stencil, with the option of Geometric.
I haven't brought out this Exploding Blocks Stencil in awhile (it's such a cool stencil, I just don't stencil often).
Thank you for visiting me and we hope you'll join us at the challenge blog!
Kindred Stamps Icons, Acrylic paint and Glitterific paint, Brutus Monroe Raven Embossing Powder
We have a new prompt for our challenge, and it's CELEBRATE.
I went with celebrating someone because they matter. ;)
These are my fave celebration cards to create, because they are unexpected and appreciated.
When the mood hits, I go out...even with coloring and mixed media!!!
Please join us with your unique take~
It's time for a new challenge at INkspirational, and this time it's my choice!
Honey Bee Lovely Layers Front Porch Summer Add-On, My Favorite Things Greetings for Good Humans, Whimsy Stamps Jungle Frame
I came up with HOT...so make it hot...hot embossing, hot colors, hot seasonal celebrations...hot foods!
I went with hot red and a Fourth of July vibe (can't you hear the fireworks?).
This is for my husband, who served.
Please join us with your unique take~
I have these glitterific/acrylic panels laying about, and I've got multiple sentiments prestamped (this particular set from The Greetery has a handful you stamp together on strip tags, which I love).
This card came together out of pure fun Christmas.
We do hope you'll join~
