Chevron SHINE

The Moxie Fab Chevron Chic Challenge

I was intrigued.

Normally, I can't even LOOK at chevron stripes, let alone craft with it.  It gets me all dizzy.

I found one way ...

I loved making this card. I found it to be good for my soul. As I layered the sequin disks on the chipboard heart, I pictured fashion shows and movie premieres.  I LOVED holding each sequin in my hand and layering it carefully like scales.

I have no idea why.

It was weird.

Look at that SHINE!!!  I was mesmerized,... MESMERIZED,  I tell you!

I dry embossed a little on the trim, which warrants an entry into the Less Is More One Layer Embossing.  I think there is enough white showing. :)

While I was waiting for the glue on the first card to dry, I started playing with a piece of festive chevron paper.

I had to keep looking away from the 4X6 Chevron patterned cardstock.

It made me woozy.

I was stubborn....I WANT TO BE CHIC!!!

I die cut a small piece and broke up the other strip with fringe scissors.

IT WEAKENS THE POWER OF THE CHEVRON

Check out THIS fun number:

I couldn't choose which to showcase.  They were both so much fun.  I want to count them both for Moxie Fab;........

can I? :)

I am also entering the second one in CAS-ual Fridays Buttons and Twine challenge.

All these challenges pushed me out of my comfort zone.  More importantly, I had fun!

Thank you for peeking in! ;)
