~Unanswered Prayer~

I'm grateful for unanswered prayers.

I remember praying for it to snow in Hawaii.

KNOW, right?

KIDS. ;)

So, picture this....

I had just moved to TN in the of summer of 1993.

I was 23 years old. (That's the only hint you'll get...you do the hard part).

I peek out the window and what do I see that winter???

You guessed it!

SNOW!!!

Glorious snow. ;)

This Hawaii girl RAN outside (with her husband in tow) and played in the snow with abandon.

I'll never forget my new neighbors and friends.
This sweet couple came RUNNING down the hill to play too.

sniff.

I'll never forget what you did for me that day, guys.

You indulged the child in me. ;)
Bless you.

Thank God for unanswered prayers.

Thank God He answers the HEART of prayers in a way He sees fit.

Heather's tutorial will show you how.

Another "off the edge" creation for CAS-ual Fridays too.

That sentiment IS hanging off the edge, but it's hard to tell because I curled it up on both ends to mimic a sled.

Thanks for stopping in today. ;)
