A Box- Pleated Christmas

I wore pleated skirts for 6 years straight.

Not because I liked them.

They weren't the height of fashion "back in the day".

I wore them because I HAD to.

That's right.

Catholic school uniforms.

Who knew they would actually BE IN FASHION???!!!

Now, I LOVE THEM.

Not to wear (have you ever had to IRON pleats???!!!)

...but to

CREATE with!

These are soooo fun to score....

and so fun to create variegated colors with.

If you are interested, I made a BOX-PLEATS TUTORIAL HERE.

I used Memento markers and a Copic marker to create a "fizz" rising up.

I also did
technique again!

There is less than an hour to help out
to get closer to their goal of 1000 submissions.
I believe I have enough white to show off here. ;)

I am impressed with how many they got!

has some lovely inspiration!!!! ;)

Thanks for stopping by today! ;)
