I have three cards to share that came from a two day crafting spree...YAY!!
First for a nephew that's a Feb baby:
Spellbinders Free Hugs Oscar die, Concord & 9th Burst of Blooms branch die, Picket Fence Studios Tropical Tweets
I used the following sketch (thank you Sunday Stamps for direction).
Second one is an encouragement post...and a chance to play with the Lovely Layers Tack dies.
I'm telling you, this set had a lot of thought put into all the details!
(I'm not a horsey girl but I do have memorable horseriding stories I'll share when I play with this set again).
I love the Saddle Up sentiments and I used a Christmas GC at a local scrapbook store (thanks to my youngest) to acquire them to match the lovely saddle.
Honey Bee Stamps Lovely Layers Tack and Saddle Up sentiment, Avery Elle Double Stitched Rectangle, Reverse Confetti (out of business) Bubbles Confetti Coverplate
I backed it with a beloved coverplate for Just Us Girl's latest coverplate challenge.
Cutting several different colors gave me all these beautiful bubbles to adorn my three creations.
La-La Land Crafts In the Forest Paper Pad, sentiment die
Finally, I had a sliver of La-La Land Crafts In the Forest Paper Pad (I love several of their paper pads and can't choose a fave, honestly).
I have tried to research where this sentiment die is from (if I'd guess, it might be Stamplorations, but I don't see it online anywhere).
I cut it in Tonic Studios Mirror Cardstock for some shine!
Thank you for your sweet visit!
Marlena... I love all three of your cards! You had a very crafty Sunday. What a great use of a background die using all the dots and the frame. The saddle is so very sweet. Thank you so much for joining Just Us Girls for the first challenge of the year!
ReplyDeleteA very fun way to use the sketch Marlena! Thanks for sharing with us at Sunday Stamps!
ReplyDeleteSuch cute cards! Love the little parrot, perfect way to use the sketch! Thanks for joining us at Sunday Stamps, hope to see you again soon!
ReplyDeleteA delightful trio of cards, Marlena. I'm especially intrigued with the one you shared at Just Us Girls; I had no idea that saddle dies/images were a 'thing'! So cool - and it certainly makes a connection with me as my niece does dressage and jumping with her horse. Thrilled to see you in the JUGS gallery!
