Keep Moving On

As my girlies are closer and closer to fleeing the nest...

the Lord lays on my heart to pay attention to their hearts.

They can learn all sorts of things ...information is EVERYWHERE.

However, in order to DO LIFE...

they need coping skills too.

Life is hard, man.

It just is.

Learning to cry (rather than stifling it all and burying it) has been the most helpful

 albeit painful,

education in my Christian walk.

I used to pay attention to how I appeared rather than what was going on in my heart.

The Lord wouldn't let me run from that.

Nope.

DEAL Marlena...deal.

WALK the valley.

Bleh.

I'm more of a "THAT didn't just happen" kind of gal (as my Shelby girlie would say).

At some point, however...the past catches up.

That being said...this sentiment paired with this Unity beauty works for me.

For me, it's not about forgetting, but about remembering and making peace...with the Lord's help, of course.

Just keep moving...just keep moving... ;)
