Adventure Inkspirational DT

It's time for a new challenge at Inkspirational!

Simon Says Stamp Dress Up Tags, Papertrey Ink Glorious Globes Basics, journaling card

I'm in need of a ton of a graduation cards...so this prompt is SPOT ON.

http://inkspirationalchallenges.blogspot.com/

I built up from the journaling card colors;

it always helps when I need a place to start.

As for the tag, I painted some blue acrylic paint on cardstock and die cut after the fact.

My sister passed on some Dr. Seuss stickers

(along with a bunch of other stickers~she's the best!).

I thought it went swimmingly with the globe.

Please join us and share your unique creation!

Here's the supply list for my card:

Simon Says Stamp Magical Christmas bear die, CZ Design Wafer Dude die, Simon Says Stamp Wild Beauty sentiment , Tim Holtz Distress ink, Avery Elle Wonky Stitches, Versafine Onyx black,Arteza Watercolor Real Brush Pens

As for the process:

I die cut this classic bear and sponged it with blue distress ink before removing the die, which left a clean outline on the edge.

Next I used two Arteza Real Brush pens to create an ombre background on watercolor paper

(if you wet down the paper first, it flows sooo much smoother).

After the watercolor paper dried, I die cut the best part out

(the panel will sit flatter if you cut AFTER you paint).

The products I listed under my second pic can be found at Simon Says Stamp's store and most are linked directly.
