Grid Card

I challenged myself to really think on this one...wordwise.

stamps: Winnie & Walter True sentiments/My Precious stones/In Bloom:Eva's Favorite Flowers line, Verve Beautiful Things "beautiful"

I created a grid with the line from Eva's Favorite Flowers and filled it with sentiments to be read across and down.

Even the heart can be read in the diagonal phrase "We "heart/love"you".  I stamped the silver solid jewel with the back of a couple of gems.

Time-Out's Challenge has stripes and gold~my FAVORITE look!

http://timeoutchallenges.blogspot.co.uk/2018/02/challenge-102.html

I LOVE black and white stripes!

However, with black, white and gold on the focal panel, I decided to add green and gold striped paper for matting.

Thanks for stopping by~

Shaker Card

I can't throw anything away~so I added more watercolor to the frame left from my watercolor card.

A shaker card was born~

stamp: Winnie & Walter True heart on base panel  dies: Winnie & Walter In a Word:Friend Cutaway, Avery Elle Wonky Stitches

I love my friends, and a shaker card from me is love!

It's a few more steps, is all I'm saying. :)

The "x's and o's" add the love...so do the embossed hearts on the main base.

Thanks for stopping by~it really makes me feel loved!

Jesus Today & Always

Jesus is my everything.

I can't~

 do life~

 without Him.

Love this beautiful die that honors Him~

stamps: Papertrey Ink Doodlie-Do/Words of Comfort  dies:Papetrey Ink Doodlie-Do/Photo Finish Strips/Half&Half/Inspired:Jesus, Avery Elle Double Pierced Rectangle

inspired me to stamp with these fun Doodlie-do flowers.

It's so sweet, but I have a church friend who says she always keeps my cards. ;)

Now those are the ones I try to create faithfully for!

She's a blessing to me and I pray this will encourage her.

Thanks for stopping by friends~

Happy Birthday Watercolor

Tried a little watercoloring today~

stamps: Winnie & Walter Happy Birthday to You  dies:Avery Elle Wonky Stitches,Papertrey Ink Brushed Off: Rectangle

I first clear embossed the images and then watercolored, but didn't feel the sentiment popped enough.

I stamped the sentiment again in black.

As for the twist aspect of this challenge, I Copic colored the edges of the watercolored panel and splattered a bit on the corners.

Thank you for stopping by! ;)

Biggest Fan

My eldest girlie studies and performs improv~and I'm enjoying every one of her shows!

Needless to say, I'm her biggest fan (next to her dad, of course). ;)

This card is long overdue.

stamps: Papertrey Ink Be Mine,Valentine  dies:Papertrey Ink Be Mine/ Valentine/Brushed Off: Rectangle/
Make It Market Kit:Tinsel & Tags,Avery Elle Double Pierced Rectangles

I used modern, bold colors and a fun image~perfect for my bold, cool, fun girlie. ;)

Although the colors are completely different, the basic structure is the same as this card I made for Papertrey's November Blog Hop.

https://marlenaisfaithfullycrafting.blogspot.com/2017/11/papertrey-ink-november-2017-blog-hop.html

It mimics its central focal image and banner sentiment.

The framing is loosely done for my daughter's card~much like her carefree improv art.

The following challenge was wonderful motivation:

Repetitive Stamping

Got to play with some repetitive stamping on this card~I love creating my own backgrounds.

stamps: Winnie & Walter My Precious/In Bloom Shirley's Blooms  die:Winnie & Walter In a World Happy

I can use this card for multiple occasions~the main thing, is the colors are bright and sunny, just like I wish today was. ;)
