This time it's a fun Visual Prompt.
The Greetery Boxwood Heart Base and Details die, Verve sentiment
There was a time that I remember (thirty plus years ago...ahem) when red and pink did not play well together.
It was taboo to use both because you picked one or the other.
If I'm remembering that too dramatically, then forgive me!
ha!
But NOW they are friends (it's been ten years or so that I've seen it encouraged!!).
I love it.
Simon Say Stamp (Wednesday): Add a Heart
(I chose Red, Heart and Pink from Time Out Challenges!)
Thank you for your sweet sweet visit today~
It's time for a new challenge at INkspirational!
This time the prompt is XOXO, so I'll show you the inside of my card first:
Hero Arts Classic Casserole, Unity Stamps Deckle and Stitches
Please join us at the challenge blog with your unique creation!
My second doesn't open where one would expect.
I had this foiled panel (nice and thick glossy white) that could stand on it's own.
The mini card was one I previously assembled, and first intended to tape to a gift.
It's a tree with a leftover branch and circle pops from a previous crafty sitting.
Spellbinders It's My Party Glimmer Sentiments, Concord & 9th Burst of Blooms branch, Erin Lee Creative Designer Foil Plate & Glossy White Cardstock
Simon Says (Monday): Fun With Foil
Thank you for your sweet visit today~
If you zoom in to the inspiration photo at Just Us Girls, you'll see a woman peeking through a jagged red curtain...that was my direction for this fashion creation. ;)
I had immediately thought about my Revealers die from Whimsy Stamps and I haven't brought out these Hampton Art Rongrong stamps in awhile (fashion lady).
I stumbled upon these ancient Chevron adhesive cardstock and I wanted to slide that in too (adding glue since the adhesive probably won't hold on its own).
Thank you for your sweet visit today!
It's time for new challenge at INkspirational and it's a visual prompt of Shades of Blue.
I love and admire all three of my girlies
(who are grown at this point).
God made each of them so special and unique.
One of them is such a fierce individual (when this character trait is needed) and this sentiment fits her to a T!
Picket Fence Studios The Right Pair of Boots, Copics, Unity Stamps Deckle & Stitches Nesting Dies, Altenew Mesmerizing Pours Paper Pack, Copics
This was stamped and Copic colored for my daughter, just because. ;)
I have three cards to share that came from a two day crafting spree...YAY!!
First for a nephew that's a Feb baby:
I used the following sketch (thank you Sunday Stamps for direction).
Second one is an encouragement post...and a chance to play with the Lovely Layers Tack dies.
I'm telling you, this set had a lot of thought put into all the details!
(I'm not a horsey girl but I do have memorable horseriding stories I'll share when I play with this set again).
I love the Saddle Up sentiments and I used a Christmas GC at a local scrapbook store (thanks to my youngest) to acquire them to match the lovely saddle.
Holiday card for a special family; it literally looks like them about 8 years ago. ;)
My card is framed like the sketch at Inspired By
Most of my family lives in Hawaii (almost all).
I know Hawaii is a popular destination spot for many, but guess what the locals like to do?
Fly out to where there's snow!!!
LOL.
I had a blast when both my sisters and their families got to come and play in the snow.
I prayed for snow (even a little would suffice) and the Lord did not disappoint in those visits!
I've kept my grown daughter's smaller gloves and such, just in case we get another winter visit.
What a blessing to be able to see Hawaii littles (and taller) playing in the snow with wonder and excitement!
I'll try to look at the snow through my Hawaii eyes when I can (but still drive like I know how snow can do!).
If you know, you know. ;)
Thanks for the sweet visit today~
Welcome to the New Year friends!!
We at INkspirational are starting 2026 with a new prompt for you.
We are calling for SHINE/SHINY.
I caught the shine in my creation above; the second pic is a better pic overall (in my opinion).
