Wishing You the Comfort of His Love

It's a big day for me friends.
I was chosen for my first design team!

I get to join the lovely ladies at Inkspirational ;).

 Here's my card:

stamps: Papertrey Ink Corner Adorner September/A Thrill of Hope  dies: Papertrey Ink Corner Adorner September/Tag Sale #5, Avery Elle Wonky Stitches  Other: Red Heart yarn, Papertrey Ink Modern Background Stencil

I steered toward Christmas with the following prompt...

http://inkspirationalchallenges.blogspot.com/2018/10/challenge-171-word-prompt-comfort.html

Once I read it,

"Tidings of Comfort & Joy" kept humming in my head.

Let me zoom in~

I'm also entering Papertrey Ink's Make It Monday #338: Incorporating Packaging Dies Into Your Cards
hosted by Lizzie Jones.

She mentions tags as a packaging die (in her video), so I used two. ;)

Of course I added a pom, because it's my new obsession. ;)

You can't stop smiling when you're holding one!

I've never been a yarn person before, but new colors are overflowing from my basket without warning...

Let's just say my family has noticed...and they are very concerned.

;)

Thank you for stopping by~be sure to check out the rest of the Inkspirational Design Team's lovely creations~

  2. Heehee - they should be concerned as every new crafting enthusiasm seems to result in lots of new purchases..

This is a lovely card and the pompom looks great. I really like the double tag look too.

  3. The sentiment is spot on for the comfort theme, and you’ve used my favorite color scheme, because it works for any kind of card. So fun with the pompon detail:)

    Yes... welcome to the team!
I did not realize it was your first design team. Inkspirational was also my first team, but 5 years ago! It is such a good group of women. We are super excited to have you!
