Rubber Cement Water Color Resist

I set aside time to create for Papertrey Ink's challenge

(stamp: Papertrey Ink Stylized Autumn  dies:Papertrey Ink Stylized Autumn/Inspired:Hope, Avery Elle Double Pierced Rectangles)

I bought rubber cement after watching this tutorial, but didn't try it until now.

with Lexi Daly

The hardest part, was waiting for the rubber cement to dry.

I went with broad stripes, since I love the irregular striped look.

My cold must be protecting me, because Lexi warns of the smell, but I didn't notice!

Just a note, in case you are sensitive to strong odors.

Well, we are fighting colds and what-not here, but who isn't?

Once we are better, we will feel more alive than ever!

Have a good one guys~

  1. What a stunning card Marlena! I love the graphic and bold stripes you did with the rubber cement, but even more I love the colors you used with the Stylized Autumn set...they make this card so elegant! Well done! (Hope you all feel better soon!!)
