Polka dots on a sympathy card?
Really?
No, I'm not trying to make a painful, sudden death light...
but rather...honor the sweet, sweet spirit of one who was taken while she still had so much LIFE left, you know?
This wasn't the route I originally planned for
however, it IS a card I had been putting off making.
To Mrs. Coast...
a beautiful, beautiful ray of light who is home.
I don't think this feels inappropriate as a sympathy card, Marlena. It is lovely. Sorry to hear about your friend. :(
ReplyDeleteAwww, how sad and sweet. Very sorry for your loss, Marlena. You have certainly succeeded in capturing what you intended with this card. It's beautiful! So glad you joined the CAS-ual Fridays Challenge!
ReplyDeleteSympathy cards are so hard but you pulled it off beautifully! Thanks for joining us at CAS-ual Fridays!
ReplyDeleteThat's a great idea to commemorate the 'spirit' while alive! So sorry about your friend xoxo
ReplyDeleteA beautiful way to honor someone Marlena! To make a card inspired by the person themselves...I'd say that's a perfect design! And...it's beautifully done!
ReplyDeleteSo sweet to focus on the goodness of the person. Beautiful!
