~Merci~

A sweet friend sent me some creativity tape in the mail last week.

I used it on this card to thank her.

I background stamped with the chicken wire~

Oh how I love this chicken wire stamp!!!! ;)

I have a hard time telling when this Antiquities embossing powder is "done", but I love the gritty feel when it is.

Even if it "burns", it seems to be ok.

I used the

lovely sketch from

  2. I like your chicken wire stamp, too, Marlena. :) It makes a fabulous card, especially with the rooster on here.

I so appreciate you coming to visit me today and yesterday. I've been thinking of you, too, and seems I see your name from time to time, winning stampy goodies!! Yay for you!

Thanks for the prayers, too...I could use them. :) Take care and hugs!

  3. Hi Marlena - The chicken wire looks great - I've never played with the Antiquities, but I like the distressed look you got! The embossing really pops on the background and great detail too. What a sweet way to thank your friend - and she got to see that pretty tape in action! I bet she will love this!

  4. Love the chicken wire background - would love to feel it, the texture must be great with that embossing powder. And doesn't the rooster image go well. These two sets are on my wish list (along with most of sets the WMS store). Really love the teal with the brown too.

  6. Fabulous card and I love chicken wire too!! The antiquities embossing powder is a little tricky, but it does seem to change color slightly when it is set, but not sure it would really show up on this thin stamping. :-) ~ Blessings, Tracey
